I made this cool avatar at faceyourmanga.com, it seems everyone is. I am surprised that it actually does look a bit like me, except it’s mssing a black dot on the bottom lip.

Today I am wearing my Mishka x Lamour shirt and my cool guy jeans. Plus my new fedora is the shit so I feel like a million bucks. The Beijing Olympics are kickin! Today is also payday and I got some new Mishka shirts yesterday. Peep game:
Rasputin shirt is killer.

Yet another great Mishka x Lamour mash up tee.
These guys are too cool. I haven’t actually bought new toys in the longest time so it felt kind of god to go buy myself stuff senselessly. It sort of a late birthday gift to myself. I’m also hoping to pick up myself a new 23 year old pappy too (YUM!).
The Gargamel booth was pretty awesome this year as it has been since they began showing up at SDCC. They always bring the nice bright colors. I am still pissy about missing out on the Ojo Rojo.
Super 7 booth held it down as well but I missed everything cool because I only had Fri-Sat passes. I would’ve liked to score a skull pirate but I will live. I did score the Himalan so I am happy.

Left to Right: Tokoji Seijin, Himalan, Fancy Hair Eriagun, Globby
SDCC was nuts this year. Bad photos of loot coming soon. Aside from SDCC I started and finished a clients site overnight, I also joined twitter and gravatar to further expand my online presence. I am finishing three sites right now and I can’t wait to be done.
It’s been a while since the Kaws made something I absolutely had to buy. Obviously if I could throw down three grand for the four foot companions I would. But these guys rule and I still wear my super beat Kaws shirt with the jpp character on it. I actually wore it yesterday when I ordered in attempts to create some type of juju, I believe it worked. The site crashed and everything it was good times.

It happens to all of us once a year. My birthday is never better than the last one, they degrade a little year by year. Less phone calls and emails… that sort of thing. I never tell people because I feel like an attention whore. I mean so what I was born today??
Surely the passing of my dad in June kind of kills summer for me. It has been a year or so and it still feels like it was last week. It’s really weird. My dad always got me something cool, he hated not surprising us for stuff like holidays and celebrations. As I got older I always told my parents I didn’t want anything for my birthday, just money. He would always get me stuff like window tinting, car stereo or a crazy car alarm (my old car got broke into twice in front of my house!). Random stuff I never bought simply because I could not afford it and did not really need it so I lived without. I don’t miss the random power gifts nearly as much as I miss the old man hell bent on buying them ha ha. But I won’t lie they were nice š
26 years on this planet and I still feel like I’m sixteen. What will happen? I really do not want to gain more weight ha ha ha. In my youth I remember saying really dumb shit like “I wish a was super fat, like 285 fat!” Life is awkward enough with an extra 30 pounds just chillin’. I will more than likely go eat with my family, go home get ripped, swig the remainder of my 23 year old Pappy and go to work the next day.
I also can’t forget to say Happy Birthday to my friend Shane. Hope yours is better than mines.

Here is the elusive 23 year old Van Winkle bottle before it was clobbered in a way containing littleĀ to no dignity. Poor thing went out like a regular bottle of piss whiskey. I won’t lie there is still a little nectar left in the bottle, IĀ dip into it every friday. It is so good it’s just wrong. The strangest of it all being that after having my try at all ages of the Van Winkle bottles I still think the 12 year old is the better of them all. Maybe because it’s easier on my wallet? I don’t know but it brings me just as much joy as any of the other bottles. Obviously the 23 year old is the piff but we can’t always be drinkin out the $250 bottles.

Aside from the rediculous amount of loafing I have done since Thursday I didn’t accomplish much this three day weekend.
I watched the Nascar race and the UFC fight this Saturday (Boooo) and a played a little wii olympics and guitar hero.
It appears I have accidentally deleted a few posts while trying to mess around the back end of the site with my mobile phone. It just deletes without confirmation I guess.
Anyways I’m a fat ass and today is Friday to me!
Today I left work early and enjoyed myself a sipper of the 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle with a splash of water. It was a good day considering yesterday was the birthday of my late father. I actually got a hold of some awesome pictures from his childhood. Either way this month really blows. My dad’s birthday is on the 3rd, he died on the 12th and then fathers day is on the 17th… ugh. My family is having a little party to celebrate the year that has past since my father’s departure.
On a more joyful note I finally found me a bottle of the 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle! It took some snooping around and was given a list of stores that provide it by the coolest guy on earth. His name was Jim and even though he will not read this, THANK YOU JIM! You bet I’m going to be sippin on some at my dad’s party.
Anyways it needs to rain hard and then clear up by Saturday.
I found the Sazerac rye whiskey to be quite tasty. I found a liquor store that has it for pretty cheap. I don’t know what it is but something about this whiskey tastes so like what I imagine a whiskey tasted like in the cowboy days. It is a mid shelf whiskey with a good price and a good sweet flavor.
I also picked up a few other bottles. I got a Pappy Van Winkle 15 year old and a Elijah Craig 12 year old. The Van Winkle is of course a tasty treat and lives up to the high standard it has set in the world of whiskey. Coming in at 107 proof it’s a bit warmer than the 20 year old and packs a similar rich flavor. To me the Van Winkle bottles all taste like wood (in a good way) it’s a really sweet flavor. I usually have a glass after a nice meal, it is complete dessert bourbon. Sometimes I swear I can smell hints of vanilla.
The Elijah Craig is a goodie as well. It is right up there with the Elmer T Lee and the Buffalo Trace. I will always have a bottle of this stuff around as it has a good price and some nice flavor.

My next goal is to find a bottle of 23 year old Van Winkle bottle, I can currently only find them online for the ludicrous price of $400.00!! I will get one soon.
I’m hunting down a Nintendo Wii. I want Guitar Hero… I want golf, tennis, wii fit and I don’t want to leave my house. So from this day forth I am officially on the hunt. I will not fail.
