The War

A film by Ken Burns is totally depressing. It’s horrible all the feeling and emotions and thoughts going thru my head. Seeing what was a necessary war being turned into the blueprint for this current administrations war plan is quite appalling. For some reason Pearl harbor = 9/11 and Japan = Iraq. It is quite a stretch no? I watched only 3 of the 7 films and was lucky enough to catch the last one.

I became even more sad to think that maybe when our troops come home in the near future nobody will give a shit (people will care, but it ain’t gone be like at the end of the movie, that’s for sure.). I don’t blindly support anything but I feel like a handshake and a thank you is always deserved if you’re in foreign countries doing service. I know our current war is not just but, the soldiers are still human and no human should be faced with such atrocities (especially for an unjust cause). I fight the good fight but it’s stuff like this that makes it tough, how am I supposed to think anything good when humans are capable of such crazyness.

Also Conor you’re a funny guy, we talked all day yesterday and not once did you mention Gran Pappy’s 103rd B-day! My boys grandpa is 103 yesterday folks! REAL TALK.
