These fyxation tires are so effin pink! I sorta forgot because it had been so long. They are freakishly pink, like a toxic crusader. They are so bright I don’t even want to expose them to the sun because I know as soon as they see the sun they will begin a slow fade out too a chewed gum shade of pink. I remember when I got my first set of these tires I got various compliments from people in cars and random children who like pink (ewwww).
It’s taken a few months but I have made a little progress. I coated my frame and fork in hot rod black primer after stripping all the paint off. I was rockin’ the raw steel but was noticing little rust spots appearing anywhere water had been for more than a few seconds. So I sanded it down, threw some paint on it and boom. Also got the bigger pink tires in. It’s still missing a few ingredients but all in due time.
I finally found some pink tires I can dig on. It came between these and some Tufo tubular tires. These were cheaper and I figured I’d be better off not worrying about tires with no inner tubes and gluing them down to the rim and all that good stuff. I think both tires were a similar shade of neon pink. They are a little thicker than my current tires but I figured I should get them now and worry about some new rims and hubs in the near future. I hope they fit as there is very little room in the rear inner of the frame. Getting closer.
