I’ve slowly been phasing out my old email and converting to gmail. Earlier tonight I opened my email to see these great kaws companion key chains. Seeing that it was around 9pm I was sure there would be none left. I visited the site to confirm that I was correct and mooch the photo so I can at least have a picture of them to look at ha ha (sadness) I only own three of the five in the set so I don’t feel too entitled. I never really cared for the glow companions, I mean I liked them but didn’t find them to be worth the loot… were I a baller I would buy them right now. Anyways on to the awesome keychains.

Being poor blows, I mean I been poor my whole life but there’s decent times and there’s bad times… these are the bad. Were I not so broke I wouldn’t even think twice about buying this little guy. To be honest he ain’t even my favorite of the bros I am more of a Standing Hedoran type of guy but I would still do it. I refer to this Hedoran as the hugger because he looks like he’s super stoked to see you and is all like “yaaaaaay! Lemme get a hug!” Seafoam and magenta colorway is the business.

So I open my inbox and all I can do is sit a little pissed off at my screen and say doooooooooooood. It was a pre-order for this absurd vinyl madness (Shikaruna Dorol) that I wish I could afford (Damn you Xty!!..j/k..seriously tho…hhaha..no) I’ve seen em around on the message boards and stuff but I haven’t even been lurking that much so I’m some what out of the loop. This was my first Bounty Hunter piece and I am pretty bummed I didn’t start earlier. It’s very much and old school feel to the toy, it’s matte texture and it came in just a plastic bag with a BxH sticker stapled to it. Which of course means I now also have a BxH sticker Yeeeeeeee! This guy is also quite bulky, but I heard he is bigger than the other figs which sort of bummed me out but it doesn’t really matter because this BxH shit is way over priced and I probably wont be getting any of the ones that I want for quite some time. Alas that is one of the joys of toy collecting: The Hunt. It would not be nearly as satisfying if I got every toy I wanted with great ease.

These guys are too cool. I haven’t actually bought new toys in the longest time so it felt kind of god to go buy myself stuff senselessly. It sort of a late birthday gift to myself. I’m also hoping to pick up myself a new 23 year old pappy too (YUM!).

The Gargamel booth was pretty awesome this year as it has been since they began showing up at SDCC. They always bring the nice bright colors. I am still pissy about missing out on the Ojo Rojo.

Super 7 booth held it down as well but I missed everything cool because I only had Fri-Sat passes. I would’ve liked to score a skull pirate but I will live. I did score the Himalan so I am happy.

It’s been a while since the Kaws made something I absolutely had to buy. Obviously if I could throw down three grand for the four foot companions I would. But these guys rule and I still wear my super beat Kaws shirt with the jpp character on it. I actually wore it yesterday when I ordered in attempts to create some type of juju, I believe it worked. The site crashed and everything it was good times.
