I forgot I took this picture until last night when I synced my phone to my computer but this was in the Claremont Graduate University bathroom when Xty and I were there for her conference (She did great btw).

Now a reason I enjoy my ionz149 moniker (which about 40% of the time I write ions149 or ions) is that nobody EVER uses it for ANYTHING. It is always available as a login or user name because it’s totally random. I mean really wtf is ionz149 anyways. Not many people know this but I started writing ions in highschool because of some freshman biology class I was taking in my junior year (HAH!) I kid you not, I never paid attention and was always doodling random crap in my dividers that peaked my interest. And like that I wrote ions a few times after the teacher was flappin his face about atomic particles and thought hmm these letters are nice together. At some point the number 149 was appended to it (I blame the hip hop) The rest my friends is history.

All that aside I sleep very well knowing no matter what I am more than likely the one and only ionz149. And here I am taking a piss (yes in a stall, that’s how I roll… the bathroom was empty and I still took the stall) and at first I thought I was reading it wrong and it was some other name but I looked again and it was clear as day… IONS!!!!!!

I instantly fell to my knees looked up at the ceiling and flailed my first while screaming “DAMN YOU IONS FROM UA!!!!! DAAAAAAMN YOOOOOOU!!!” then I got up and snapped a photo with me phone. I think I’m okay with it though, I don’t really write so there should be room for the two of us. Also if I am not mistaken I believe UA is on some hefty, half way decent graffiti for a while now.

The tough take shits in the alley. My alley is often a look at the grim tweeker life that surrounds my little gated complex. This marvelous work of thick, chunky drip was left right next to where I park my car. The dude pooped on the other side of the fence but his dooks managed to slide on down the other side and onto the floor.

Nothing major, carry on… carry on.

I’ve recently been drinking Wild Turkey 101 and the reliable Weller 90. They are good earthy whiskeys, even though they are different flavors the two share similarities as far as sweetness and oakyness go.

This week while at my local BevMo I decided to pick up a bottle that A) I had never seen before and B) was less than $30.00. Alas we have Wathen’s Kentucky Bourbon a nice change from my recent regular pours.

I found it to be pleasantly fruity with hints of citrus after the initial alchohol whiffs (it is 94 proof) but even at 94 proof it was enjoyable served neat. It offered a chewy, buttery floral flavor with hints of some nutty vanilla sweets. A bit of water really brings out the best of this whiskey. The next morning my glass smelt of sweet cotton candy. It’s quite a treat.
